I believe I deserve the Women Entrepreneur Award for my entrepreneurial vision, leadership and contribution to Kenya’s coffee sector. Through Gachiku Estate Coffee, I have worked to elevate the farm’s profile, introduce innovative processing methods and create greater value from Kenyan coffee. This year, Gachiku Estate Coffee won the Taste of Africa Award for Best Coffee produced using the Natural Processing method—an achievement that reflects my commitment to innovation and excellence. My leadership extends beyond the farm through my directorship at the Agriculture and Food Authority and my role as Chair of the Association of Women in Coffee. I am committed to empowering women, advancing agriculture and championing Kenyan coffee globally.
